Meeting Information

The social hour starts at 6:00 PM, dinner is at 7:00 PM, and the speaker's presentation is at 8:00 PM.  Please note that there are no meetings during the months of July and August.

Online Reservation Form

Please make a reservation no later than 4 pm on the Thursday before the upcoming meeting. Your reservation will 1) help the cooks purchase the right amount of food, and 2) let the officers know how many tables and chairs to set up.

Appetizers are offered during the social hour.  The main course includes a choice of tri tip, chicken or vegetarian lasagna. The rest of the meal includes garlic bread, chili and salad. Beverages include draft beer, lemonade, ice tea, coffee and bottled water.

Dinner Meeting Costs for members and non-members:

$18 - With a reservation
$25 - Without a reservation
$10 - For students and K-12 teachers

Note: The student fee does not include beer! Please plan to pay the full amount if you want to enjoy a beer.

Raffle tickets

Money generated from the raffles goes toward scholarships, field trips, etc. to promote the advancement of Geosciences. Raffle tickets are sold at the sign-in tables (3 tickets for $1.00).

Meetings are held at the Sacred Heart Church, Biedermann Hall, 10800 Henderson Road, Ventura, CA 93004.   The location is off Hwy 126 at the Wells Road/Route 118 Exit. Click on the map to the right for a more detailed view and directions.
