This years Science Fair held at the Ventura County Fair grounds and was again a huge success with hundreds of students throughout the county vying for the recognition of their scientific important work.  Our CGS organization plays a vital and important roll in supporting this annual science oriented learning experience for those high and junior high school students with a technical bent.  With 150 judges involved from many differing disciplines it's apparent that only a few can make it to the finals.  This years CGS award recipients are those who's interest centered around the geological, earth, environmental and soils oriented applications and did so in a exceptional manner. We congratulate the following individuals for their outstanding dedication to those specific areas geosciences that CGS is dedicated in furthering.
